The AA7 link to the GSC should have been in the email you received after purchase. For AA7 I used the GSC and the USNO A2 star catalog, for AA8 I used the GAIA and USNOA2.

I have now upgraded to AA8 and using the GAIA cat. Success.

Thanks Dunmunro, I knew it was disabled in AA8 demo. I have now got the Star Atlas working in AA7. I checked my downloaded install files but there was no sign of the catalogue for AA7.
