Hi I have downloaded the complete UCAC4 folder. However I can't seem to load it up under the Options menu as shown below. Catalogue 2 does not have a drop down for UCAC4. I have put in the folder details, but not able to pick UCAC4 in the drop down list as it's not there. Anyone know what I might be...

Hi Fabio They are fits images. No derotator, the system takes 10s images and stacks them. Works fine for elevations less than about 80 deg. Hi

The command "Demosaic RGB" allows the user to extract a single colour channel. However for Bayer patterns with 2 green channels, does AA8 sum or average these two or just pick one?

They are raw FITS files. I’d just be interested to know what’s recommended to simply process the images to make them look pretty

I was wondering whether anyone has used AA8 for processing images from Seestar S50. If so, do you have any helpful tips or main processing techniques that should be used to improve the image quality.

Excellent, thanks Fabio. That’s exactly the process I follow. I was just unclear what catalogue the astrometry was based around but you’ve clarified that it’s the one used by the Star Atlas.
