Default binning
I use an Atik314L and find I keep forgetting the "default" is 2 x 2 binning!! I've tried changing it and re-starting but it still reverts to 2 x 2 Can this be altered to 1 x 1 as a default???

Re: Default binning
I agree, it would be nice if the binning mode would be saved. I always use my guider binned 2x2 and it defaults to 1x1.

Re: Default binning
I second this desire. It would be a great relief, if you could forget this presetting!

Re: Default binning
Hi, at the moment the logic is: if the CCD resolution is higher than 1000x700 pixels then the default binning at startup is 2x2 otherwise it's 1x1. This was made because the first image of a night is usually a quick test, to find out what is going on (so quick download). I admit it can be annoying if you shutdown AA several times during a night.
Adding user interface components for this rare options (you would change it once per year) is not very good, but the problem could be solved by a "StartupDefaults.ini" file where this rare options can be set by users. This could be easily added to the Interface 5.22.
Remembering the last setting would not solve the problem (you could have made a 2x2 image at the end of the previous night).
The same logic applies to the default exposure time, currently at the startup it's 3.0 seconds, this could be personalized as well. Again, remembering the last exposure time would not solve the problem.

Re: Default binning
I understand the limitations, but I still think it would be a good enhancement!!
