The AA5 Star Atlas allows you to search for minor planets and DSO's but not a nominated star......
Is it possible to include this functionality????

It could be included. Until now the star atlas was intended only for CCD images and deep catalogs (some of them do not include bright stars at all). Adding constellation lines, boundaries, etc. could be done in a short time too, maybe it's not so useful for typical users (?) but the cost of developing would be very small. Any feedback is appreciated.

Such a stellar feature could/ would be of use to spectroscopy - we always have the need to confirm we're targeting the "right" star......
(Many of us use a Lodestar type guider and a reflective slit-plate. This usually only gives a 15 x 10 min arc FOV. Sometimes difficult to determine the faint target star.)
