AVI on AA6

Hi all,

I cannot open an AVI jupiter, moon etc... on AA6 running on Win10, I get a black picture.
Opening windows movie or other software it's OK.

Any idea

There's a codec which AA6 don't recognize.
You must covert the avi file with some program - I use PIPP for that.
Anyway there are more suitable programs for moon/planet videos, like Autostakkert or Registax.

Try installing: Google "avi codec pack" and "K-Lite Codec Pack". AVI is just a generic container for any kind of video format.
Astroart uses the "Video For Windows" API, so what can be read depends by the VFW codecs that are installed in your PC.
You may also check the format/options of the AVIs produced by your device.
Try also the freeware programs as suggested by Einari.
