OK. Meanwhile a bug was discovered in Camera Control 6.2 beta:

the Option "Comment" causes problems if "New window" is disabled (also in Sequences).
The comment will be queued to one of the last download, growing the FITS header. After 100+ images the header will become so long that saved images (usually from Sequences) won't be reopened by Astroart (but you may still be able to open them from other software).

Current Workaround: don't use "Comment" if you disable "New window", especially in Sequences.

I could test the multitasking control for the primary camera using Camera control 6.2 beta. I used an old atik 16HR as primary camera (USB1 16 second downloading time) and a L429 camera for guiding. Both cameras connected via ASCOM. The multitasking control works great, now the guider is effective even during a long image download time.
