When I try to open a tiff file saved in AA5 in Registar I get the following message-

Unable to read TIFF file. Please ensure that the file has not been
created using a proprietary compression scheme.

Is there a workaround for this issue?

are you sure that your program supports TIFF 16/32/48/96 bit ?

Photoshop, PaintShopPro, XNView, etc. fully supports them.

You may try with PNG.
