Hi all,
I am using a Skyris video cam with Orion guidescope for positioning/plate solving.
If I open the cam in AA I get a real time video window.
However after positioning I would like to stop video throughput in order to lessen the load on the usb connection.
Is this simple closing the real time window? Because in the video options there is no way to stop the video live feed....
Regards Arnold

Hi,
yes, you can safely close the real time window. The camera will work well anyway.
Fabio.

Hello Fabio,
What I meant was, will the live feed stop when I close the window?
In other words, will the video no longer burden the USB connection?

Hello, (as software) the stream is stopped, so I guess that the USB stream is stopped too, but it's hard to know what the kernel driver actually do.
