Hello to all,
I'm using AA since several years - but there is problem by using dithering. If I chosse a dithering f.e. of 88/1 the guiding point in the statistic-window could not find the center area back again or only after a long, long time. Can you give a solution for this problem?
Thanks hadeba

Re: Guiding problem by using dithering
Hello,
8x8 pixels for dithering is very high, by the way if you really want to use it, you'll probably need to increase the value "Don't guide when - Drift > " to a value higher than 8.0 (default is 6.5). In any case I think that 5x5 or lower is better, unless you mount is really good (in DEC mainly, backlash) to recenter the star.

Hi Fabio,
Thanks for your help. I'hve tried ditherung also with 33/1 , but the return to the guiding center is also very slow. I make a new test under EQMOD.
Regards Helmut
