Hi all,
Could anyone please help me with instructions on how to limit the travel of an AO so that AA start sending mount bump at (say) 90% of the maximum travel of a given axis of the AO.
At the moment, guiding seems fine until the AO limit is reached (usually in DEC as drift is constant in one direction). Instead of moving to mount via bump commands once the AO limit is reached, the star is instead immediately lost forever. I have tried re-calibrating the axis and reversing the directions in case the direction of the mount bumps is wrong but nothing is working.
Thanks
John

Re: Setting up AO Travel Limitations and Mounts Bumps not working
Hi, that option doesn't exist in Astroart.
Bumping with the Starlight-xpress AO is performed only at 100%, when the prism command software-fails the AO prism command is immediately replaced by a bump command.
The camera must be aligned 0/90/180/270 with the equatorial axes.
Fabio.
