Combining images of a different scale

Post by dthomson39 » 11 Aug 2019, 09:31

Hi

I have been using the Slooh Canary Isle telescopes recently and I am having problems combining the R,G and B images with the Luminance image in Astroart 7.

Combining the RGB using Trichromy is fine but the Luminance image is a different scale so I am unable to add it. I have tried a few things but the image that results is awful. Is there a correct way to do this?

There is a feature under the Image tab called Coregister it will align and scale two images. It works great!
Open the two images you want to combine, then activate the RGB image and click Coregister and it will create an aligned and scaled image to the Luminance image .
