Moving Mask by Pixel in any direction

Post by nmac » 22 Jan 2023, 14:28

Hi!

Is there any way of moving a mask on screen pixel by pixel (x/y increments) without creating another one?
Sometimes is hard to place a mask in the right place without pixel adjusting.

It would be a great addition to star masks when trying to remove halos. In the image i post you can see it almost
working just needing a few mask adjustments (move 2pixels left and increase mask size by 1 pixel for example).
Could those options (x/y increase-decrease) be implemented on the Mask creation dialog?

Regards.

Hi, just select the last tool in the Mask window, then click the arrow buttons: If you zoom-in the image, it will be precise to move the mask also with the mouse.
Greetings, Fabio.
