Hi,
I see that even after the filter, the bright stars are still not recognized, as can be seen by moving the mouse pointer over them.
It could be the star size or the crossed light streaks, I will use your image to verify.
The problem is not platesolve itself, since it works simply decreasing the size of the image, for example with Binning 2x2.
I'll try fix the star recognizer for these big saturated stars in the next Service Pack, in 2-3 months.

I have deleted the fit file again. it took up more than 100 MB on the server.

Edit: if after a correct plate solve (e.g. non errors shown) the N-E marker is not shown, then just right click over the image and click the menu to enable "Astrometry". In the other post I wrongly suggested to Copy and Paste the image.
