Hello, a new free tool is now available to schedule observations:

What it does:

Simple to install - no special dll - no installer - just unzip to desktop and click on the shortcuts.
Plans and schedules targets in managed lists
Graphical user interface to plan nights observing.
Checks visibility of the listed stars based on site Lat Long enables sequence to be changed to get best star position
Enables automation of the LRGB, Darks and binned frames.
Has the ability to schedule a pause to wait for a star or planet to clear an obstruction.
Handles filters, guiding, plate solving, scope syncing
Automatic checking for correct darks only collects them once for the same filter and exposure.

All the docs and the overview and initial setup for your system is also in that area.
You may need to register but that is just the same as any Yahoo forum.
Alternatively you can just send me your email and I will email you the zipped folder.

Thanks for all the work you have invested in automation. I have installed windows 10 not too long ago and there seems be a compatibility issue with ObsMgr. I have even ran the compatabilty tool and ensure i saved all the settings to be ran as administrator and windows 8 and 7 as well.
When you start it from the shortcut, a back screen appears with not much else.

9/1/15 update:
I have also installed Observation manager on my desktop that is also running windows 10 and there does seem to be a problem at all. weird indeed.
