script commands documentation
Does anyone know of a source that, in depth, describes the AA script commands? The AA7 manual lists many commands that I don't know how to use.
I found this: http://sintiniobservatory.interfree.it/ ... ns_ing.pdf
But this is from AA4 and a lot of commands has since been added.

Re: script commands documentation
Same here. An "AA-scripting for Dummies" guide would be fine. It's hard to learn an language just from reading an dictionary.
The file from sintiniobservatory helps stepping forward but as rudi wrote, its needs to be refurbished.

Re: script commands documentation
Hello, all commands for telescope, camera, focuser, filter wheel and image processing are now documented in the guide.
For the BASIC standard functions, for example: UBound, InStrRev, etc. try a Google search:
InStrRev visual basic
About utility functions, for example: SaveText, OpenText, Time, Date etc. about 50% of them are included in a Demo script, see the button "Menu" in the Script window, menu "Demos". For the remaining ones feel free to ask in the forum.

No, I meant the Help file, chapter "Script Functions".
Re: script commands documentation
Does that mean, that AstroArt automatically updates the help file?
Or is there a patch somewhere?

Re: script commands documentation
No, it's sometimes updated by Service Packs, and of course new versions.
So the latest manual is from September 2018, with the first release of Astroart 7.
