This is an animation of 67P created using Astroart 8's (AA8) animated blink tool. The individual frames were all colour decoded, flat fielded, hot pixel filtered and dark subtracted by AA8's preprocessing tool by using the 'save all files' option during the generation of a stacked image centred on the comet core, using the automated alignment feature and the 'single star' option which allows for aligning on a comet coma. The animation was from 50 x 4min subs from the morning of Dec 12 2021 and was saved by AA8 in Mpeg format.

I recoded the animation with Handbrake.
