PB Temperatur ASi 174 Mc cool.

Post by Regis Paret » 04 Dec 2024, 12:46

Good morning

After updating WIN 10 I encountered problems on this acquisition PC.

My ASi 533 camera cools normally and works well. My Mount hub pro focuser only works with my Astroart 9 32bit application, whereas until now it worked very well in 64.

If I connect my cooled ASI 174 mc camera instead of the 533 and the t° displayed directly in AA is correct if I power the camera the t° is displayed is wrong and the camera starts to cool without any request . Whether in 32 or 64 bit for Astroart.

Well I bring the cool 174 MC home and connect it to a WIn 11 PC and there it obeys Astroart's cooling requests. In 32 and 64 bit.

I did some investigations and I see that I no longer have (probably it was present before) the net framework 4.5.2. Seriously, I'm going to reinstall the app. well no impossible because a more recent version is installed. I'm losing my patience a little because I don't understand.

The 533 works in 32 and 64 the focuser works in 32 and the 174 does not work (at the t° level only) neither in 32 nor in 64 but works on a win 11 in 32 and 64 "rontondju"!!! ???? grrr!!!

If you have any leads I would be happy to take advantage of them because I'm drying up now.

So it wouldn't be a frame work problem since the 533 works?

THANKS

Good heavens.

Regis.

I'm not having any AA9 Issues but I follow the ASCOM talk group. There seem to be issues with not upgrading to the latest platform if you are using Windows 11, but also some bugs in the latest platform if you do upgrade.

Hello, it's unlikely that the problem is caused by the .NET version, unless the camera worked perfectly before the automatic Windows update.

Instead: are both PCs using the same ASI ASCOM driver? The latest version is 6.5.26, see:

https://www.zwoastro.com/software/

to download the 32 bit version click: " Other Ver x86 "

It's me again. I use google translate.
So I bring in the camera for another test on a desktop PC in WIN 11.
AA9 32 and 64 bit, the drivers are the same as on the Win 10 acquisition PC.
I connect the camera to 12 V and the fan starts immediately. I connect USB3
opens the camera plugin connects the asi 174 mc cool the temperature is consistent the camera comes in from outside where it is 5°. I set the temperature to 0° and turn the cooler on.
Everything is ok, it works normally whether in the 32 or 64 bit version of AA9 while on the other PC the temperature drops very quickly without being able to regulate it. I don't understand.
THANKS

Hello
Today i update the net.framework my camera ASI 174 mc cool works again. It regulates but much less precisely than my 533.
It remains to be found why the MountHub Pro focuser only appears in the 32 bit version of AA9 whereas before I was working in 64 bit.
Mystery.
