Drizzle

I wonder if we might see some drizzle enhancements in the next Service Pack? I've noticed that drizzle doesn't seem to restore fainter star shapes as cleanly as I'd like. I'm using older cameras with bigger pixels and I need drizzle for maximum resolution.

So, drizzle is working well on brighter stars but not on fainter ones?

Are the images really undersampled ? Just like in this example:
Nowadays it's really rare to obtain images where drizzle is effective. Stars must be 1-2 pixel wide, like in the example above.
The sequence should be taken unguided, or guided with a dithering which give fractional shifts in the main camera.

It would be useful to see a sample image.
