ZWO ASI120MM ASCOM

I cannot get this camera to work on my Windows Vista laptop it does not appear under the ASCOM camera chooser section of the Camera Control menu option nor does it appear as a selectable option in the Non ASCOM cameras. It does work on this laptop with both SharpCap and PHD2 so it’s not a hardware or cable issue.
What am I doing wrong, I have it working on my Windows 10 laptop under ASCOM.

It sounds like you haven't installed the ZWO ASCOM Driver? Sharpcap and PHD2 both have native drivers for ZWO, maybe you are connecting thru them.

You have to have the Microsoft .NET Framework installed for ASCOM to work. This might not be installed on your Vista machine.
