I accuired this image last night, when the moon was 100% full and very close to Horse Head nebula
About 90x120 sec H-alpha with a ASI1600MM Pro on a 10" f/5 newton.
And heres what came out of very basic usage of the Starnet++ plugin.
Rough procedure:
- Stars removed with Starnet++ plugin
- Field without stars made into RGB and red channel enhanced
- Stars re-added

Dumb question:
How do you re-add the stars after processing the nebula? How is your workflow in detail?
Thanks for your patience

Sorry, I found the answer myself in the "General" subforum:

All you need to do is reopen the original image with the stars and then subtract the starless image from the original image leaving only the stars.
Sometimes it doesn't subtract properly so I have to close Astroart and reopen Astroart, reopen the two images and they subtract the starless image from the original image. Good Luck.
