I cannot open an .avi file obtained with an ASI-183MM camera and ASI-Studio with Astroart 7. If I can do it with other programs. Does anyone know of any incompatibility? I am using Astroart 7 since 2020 and always with great results. I attached the txt info about this avi file. Thanks ¡

Hello, I was able to open the video on one PC but not on another one. The Windows API function: AVIStreamGetFrameOpen() returned NULL which means missing codec. The format is indeed peculiar: a color video plus a grayscale palette.
Windows Media Player can play the video on both PCs. VLC showed it completely black.
Unfortunately the only solution would be to change the settings of the video, it's not compressed, so there will not be a loss of quality.
