I am new to AstroArt and I have 30 subs of the area around Sadr. These are 2x2 binned. When I preprocessed them and saved the stacked image I then postprocessed in CS5. The histogram showed the data piled up against the left wall. Obviously I did something wrong but don't know what. Should I be colorizing the subs or do that later after stacking? It would help if there was a workflow model to guide me while I learn to use this software. Help needed.

Re: preprocessing
Dick,
Which camera were you using?
Did you have flats and darks to match the lights?
What settings did you use on the pre-processing screen.
More info will allow us to better assist you.

Re: preprocessing
If your using a osc camera then
pre-process your subs , debayer or "colorize" then stack . If you resize or stack before debayering then
you will lose color data .
