Speaking for myself, I use the platesolve assisted centring:

Telescope control -> Center -> Goto (plate solving).

I find that it will centre my CEM60 or CEM120 to within ~15 arc seconds on successive nights, which is quite sufficient for the Preprocessing Image Aligning and Stacking to work.

Superb shot !!!
How to go back to an image to the nearest pixel and start photo poses again?
Best regards
I do something similar to Dunmunro:

1) In Cartes du Ciel, slew to target
2) Take a short image (1-2 sec) in AstroArt
3) Platesolve in AstroArt
4) Sync telescope in AstroArt
5) Have a look in Cartes du Ciel, if target is not centered good enough, go to 1), otherwise done...

With my permanent mounted NEQ6 Pro, which is well polaraligned (within a fraction of an arc minute), it usually just takes two iterations, then my target is in dead center of the FOV.
