With my VMC200L at its prime focus I couldn't get object to center - tried NGC7023 and NGC7635, after a GoTo with AA5 and 5 seconds exposure, then plate solving 'center' keeps showing me 'No Match' - it reads scope and target coordinates just couldn't measure the offset.
What seems to be the problem?
A related question - in a post here on this forum AA5 it mentioned JNow/J2000, does that mean I should have JNow unchecked if I want to do plate solve?

No, JNow will not solve the problem.
To solve, you should set the parameters in Tools/Find Coordinates and save them.

Thank you Facavi! Setting parameters in 'Find Coordinates' solved my problem - tried on NGC7023 with customized coordinates and AA 5 centered it within 4 seconds!
